"This morning we said goodbye to my little buddy, Steven’s ‘stinky’, Marleigh’s best bud, and Rex’s sidekick. If you know me, you knew Leon. He’s been by my side for the past 13 years, and saying goodbye was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make.
I am so thankful I made the decision to get myself a little beagle from you! He was more than a dog - he was my comfort, my calm, my protector (well kind of, he’d announce company and then hide), and my best friend. Leon saw me through so much of my life’s journeys, and I am truly blessed. I am forever grateful that my husband loved him like his own even though he was old and crabby, and he was able to meet my daughter.
Leon will forever be my little buddy and a missing piece of our hearts! We love you, Leon! I didn’t deserve a love like yours…
