We don't often use the letter "Z" for a litter. Its not easy to come up with names for a whole litter. However, this was a litter of only one! Zander is the last puppy for this cross of Foster and Daisy. Daisy is retiring to a life of leisure with our daughter and son-in-law and their 6 children! She has been their beloved family pet since she was weaned. This is her last trip to grandma and grandpa to have her babies.She is still relatively young and will hopefully have many years ahead of her.
Daisy is a daughter of Ellie and Finley.
She is a great example of the breed and also a great example of our
line. She has the beautiful looks and the gentle and quiet nature that
we love. She is a 4th generation member of
our pack through her mother and is an heir of an outstanding
international show pedigree through her father. Interestingly, the 2008
Westminster Best in Show winner, "Uno", is her great, great uncle
through her paternal grandfather.
Zander's father is our beloved, Foster. He will be turning 11 this year and is an absolute treasure who has produced so many amazing
babies. He is also a fourth
generation part of the pack, out of the last litter of our one and only
Scout (the beagle featured at the top right side of our web page).
Foster has been a joy to own. He has the gentle and calm disposition of
his grandsire, "Grandpa Shooter" and the beautiful heart-melting eyes of
his mother, Rosalie. Foster and his offspring are
both a credit to the breed and the pride of our line.
