So many of you have written. I know there are some of you still waiting for a response, and for that I'm sorry. It does get frustrating to have to repeatedly share the news of, well, no news. That, though, looks as if it may soon change. Will you be able to bring home a Lonesome Grove Beagle this summer? I'm afraid not (so you may take a much needed break from anxiously checking for updates). There are currently no pups and no pregnancies. BUT ... but, but, but, but, ... BUT ... we are happy to report that we have several females who have come into heat just this week! God willing, we may be looking at a little puppy boom come August!
A few reminders for those interested:
- We do not have a waiting list. Pups are adopted on a first come, first serve basis.
- We do not send out private notifications/messages about upcoming pups. All notifications will be via this website and our facebook page.
- We do not allow visitors until the pups have been listed individually on this website ... even if you live close by ... even if you already have a Lonesome Grove pup ... even if you live at a distance but will be in the area ... even if ... This is how we keep things fair for all those interested. The majority of our pups do not meet their people until their going home day. People drive here from California, Massachusetts, Florida, and everywhere in between. They put in the money, time, effort, care, and research and we want to give them the same chance at seeing the litter and finding 'the' pup of their choice as our neighbor down the road.
